I guess this has been raised before but maybe the fire balls are missiles that have been blown up in space and are now falling back down?

The two events seem to have happened at the same time?

The missile was a misidentified contrail and the fireballs are wayward stones from the tail of px.

Re: ****Are missiles and fire balls falling from the sky connected ****
I wondered when this started if there was an asteroid heading towards the earth. First there was an increasing amount of "fireballs" reported and then mysterious missile launches. Of course unless the asteroid was just the right size a missile would not be much good, too big and it would make matters worse, too small and it's just a normal meteor.

Definitely seems to be something going on in near earth space recently though, I wonder if NASA's press conference will have any bearing on the launches?
