I will summarize your input as ''you reap what you sow''. Yes, I agree, the Goddess Rhamnousia holds sway in this world, so one must be careful to choose what one reveals and what one does not. Some secrets need to remain so, to protect people, and some need to be revealed to ensure the guilty are punished. |

(OP) User ID: 768505 Canada 11/14/2010 01:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The real question is: should someone disseminate facts that are publicly known if they are unpopular? Quoting: Least Servantvery interesting. In my opinion, unless someone asks you as an adult to stop speaking things that other people could easily learn for themselves, then you are under no obligation to remain silent if you choose to offer your knowledge without compensation. If someone with an interest against you asks you to stop, then it is entirely on you what consequences you are willing to accept, however, up to that point, I do not believe that it is on the person to know the agenda of others when it is not entirely clear what they do and do not want others to know. I believe this is especially the case if the person giving away the knowledge has no personal interest in giving it away other than a sharpening of the craft of wisdom and teaching. if the original source information is termed ''eyes only'' and has severe repercussions beneficial to the recipient but harmful to the giver? its the temptation of tantalus. 1:1.618 ratio |

I posited a reply that did not fit the criterion of your ''shareing knowledge paradigm'' ...nothing more. The interest level was irrelevant. ie the person giving the knowledge away in that instance would definetly not be gaining and thus have no personal interest in giving it away. 1:1.618 ratio |
