Third day....the hunt is still on. Looks like the map above may be on to something.... ...the suspect has a history of drug use and assault. [link to moabtimes.com] Law enforcement agencies resumed the search early Monday morning for a Sanpete County, Utah man accused of shooting and critically wounding Utah state park ranger Brody Young. The massive manhunt is now in its third day, and authorities said Sunday night that they were focusing the search effort near an area known as Caveman Ranch, about 22 miles southwest of Moab. On Sunday night, Grand County Sheriff Jim Nyland released the name of the suspect - Lance Leeroy Arellano. Arellano, 40, has a criminal history including assault, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia, and theft - all misdemeanors. Arellano, who was named as a "person of interest," according to the sheriff's office, is last known to have lived in Sanpete County, Utah and he has also lived in the Salt Lake City area.
