Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1066325Oh yes of course on business lol He has plenty of women to keep him busy here at home. And I don't think he likes the New York kind of girls. They are a little too loud mouthed for his taste. And really, wouldn't an STD have different symptoms? This looks like flu. But he won't take any asprin. Just Gatorade, and I have to push that on him. The good news is that, according to the Obama administration, the rich will pay for everything. If you cant keep him overheated for a few hours it wont work. Another worth a try is apple cidar vinegar and honey equal parts, several tbsp per day to change ph and kill the bug. |

I don't take specifically hot or cold showers. I don't wine or cry about it. I get sick, and then I get over it. Don't need any flue shots or a Doctor to tell me I need a day off from work. I suck it up, and I move on. Normally happens once a year. Not implying your hubs does any of the above. Just sayin'. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1164247 United States 11/24/2010 08:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why no pills? Is it the size or the idea of taking medicine? Otherwise I'd suggest advil and vitamin d 20,000 units for 3 days and then 5,000 for the next month. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1172946I wouldn't touch painkiller as long as temperature doesn't go over 102*F. If you keep using painkiller, it makes it difficult for immune system to fight effectively. I agree with you on vitamin D though. OP's husband must have gotten flu or cold... which is very easily prevented by making sure everybody get enough vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency is highly linked to flu, cold, cancer, asthma, and many others. |

Let the body do its job, the fever is to kill whatever is making him sick. You bring the fever down prematurely, then the illness will last longer. When he is able to keep food down, give him this regimen to get better. 100,000 IU Vit. A for 3 days Then 150,000 IU Vit. D3 a day for a week Then 10,000 IU of D3 daily to keep his immune system up vaccinefreehealth blogspot com The risk far outweighs any benefit as the risk will vary from child to child. facebook.com/graphixyourway |

I used to think highly of it but not anymore after doing a lot of research on it. It apparently interferes with Vitamin D big time! 150,000 IU of vitamin D a day? Where will you find 50,000 IU pills right away? Kinda pointless if OP doesn't have it at the moment. 5,000 IU pills is probably the highest amount that you can find at local stores. 20,000 IU a day for a week is plenty and maintain at 5,000-10,000 IU a day. |

But to me acetaminophen is the best thing for a fever. It literally will pull it out of your body, and break it,causing you to sweat out any fever you have. I Do not like Motrin or Anything like Ibuprofen. That shit will cause your stomach to bleed. Fuck that! Naproxin Sodium does it,too. Never had any problem with Tylenol, though, thank God! |
