I seemed to be a target for all the crazy men who like to hurt women. I survived more than you can imagine and made a life for myself but....I have let no one in for years now. I fear I will die alone and unloved except for my daughter.

Pretty much ALL of what is wrong in this world can be summed up in this piece of crap philosophy.

Absolute Values based on Absolute Truth, with a capitol T, do exist. Truth is not just an abstract idea subject to personal manipulation, based on personal opinion.

This thinking is the basis for moral relativism.

Jesus is the Truth.

I've had a good life, and what I've learned is that it's OK to love people. That you get back what you put in. And that it's not always about me.

Funny that you should say that. I do believe in the Father,Son and Holy Spirit;however,I didn't see Jesus stopping that crazy man from breaking my face and raping me.

It is really hard to find a good man and the Lord

For someone who is supposedly a Christian who don't seem to have any problem being cruel and unkind just because someone does not think the way you do. In fact, that summarises most supposed Christians to a tee.

Thank you. Me,too. I always say I prefer being alone..no one to pick up after,no one to tell me when to go to bed,no one to tell me my dress is wrong. But,on the other hand...no one to smile at me first thing in the morning,no one to say 'what's for dinner,Hon?',no one to rub my back when the pain is bad or bring me a drink of water when I'm thirsty. Sigh...

My heart truly goes out to you, OP! To some, life gives "lemons" and to others "lemonade". God gave me "lemonade" and I can't imagine why! Through this journey, a few lemons have been tossed at me and instinctively, I would just sqeeze them into my glass and keep going.

I can tell you how I feel about why but that wouldn't change the things that have happened to you. I only know that Jesus loves you very much and I feel that we definitely have very little time left here!

"School" is almost out and we are about to go HOME! Until then, abide in God's love, let Jesus be the love of your life and you will find that He is ALL you ever needed! He is coming for you!...and VERY SOON! KEEP LOOKING UP!
