Why is earth science/astronomy evaded by schools
Every year in elementry school I asked my science teacher when do we do earthscience/astronomy and the teacher says the topic is not important for the state test and avoids it and never talked about it in my 5 years of elementary school. Then in middle school earth science and astronomy was also not a topic for the state test and guess what all I got was a month of bull on earth science and astronomy. Now I am in high school and it's only optional to take earth science. So what's the deal with this anti astronomy thing going on in schools? I think earth science/ astronomy should be more important than history which is the biggest bull and waste of a subject and English should be cut to only every other day. Foreign
Language is a waste of a good period everyday of the week "yo no necesito espanol es una basura de un lengua" who agrees with me?

All the subjects you listed are not important...

English (Need to be able to read, and write at a high level... leads to being well spoken too and ladies love a well spoken guy)

Math (Every math you can take, calculus. Helps with problem solving and just increases intelligence)

Shop (Math skills used here and every man should be able to work with his hands.)

That's what I think is mandatory... everything else is a waste of time and can be learned by yourself if you have interest.

I took sciences too... Chemistry is awesome

I could never understand that ether kid. In grammar school basic science. In high school your choice physics or chemistry. I went to a 2yr college and the same thing physics or chemistry. The college did offer a course in astronomy and I signed up only to find out later they dropped the course due to a lack of interest. Only three people signed on. We had to scramble to pick up, you guessed it, a physics course.

I love math and love taking it. I didnt mention it because there is nothing wrong with the math system. But history is taken too seriously I don't care what Louis did or what happened durng the french revolution I really care about what's happening now. Also I find it stupid in highschool you have to take history all 4 years while math and science are optional the 4th year. English is also taken too seriously. All you do in that class is read and write bull that is meaningless. Also notice how the sat's are useless if you want a carrier in science or business or anything on that note unless you want to be a writer -_- it's a stupid test which will determine my life :(

Well I didn't take physics yet but I heard it's a cool course and can't wait to take it. I take chemistry right now an I like it compared to bio. Most of my family is doctors but I don't want to be one. I'd rather be a chemisist or geologist where earthscience and astronomy come in very handy. I feel as if government is holding back science for politics crap (history), (foreign language).

Their earth science theories are a bunch of pagan lies. It's best to stick with reading english writing and math. Keep the credits to a minimum and get out of there ASAP. I graduated h s early.
