Just a little update from the Horses Mouth ....so to say LOL

Right Foot is now a novelty item..I wear a Walking Boot (Cast with velcro ha) pretty much as much as I can stand the damn thing....

Think (Run Forrest Run!)

I still have 1 or 2 pieces of bone left...they will be removed when I can stand it.
Left Ankle is about 50%...no pivot or push off.
Right Knee....well...it just sux, Its all grindy squishy inside...both of em' actually.
Abdomen has not been the same since....I guess I have to give it time for all my guts to re-gut themselves

So many things happen in a fall...its hard to describe them all ya know?

One thing for sure...I weigh in at about 280 now..Im planning on losing at least 100 pounds (Figures, its the Holiday Season )
I HAVE to take some load off these poor things.

Hope you are able to call him and wish him all the best from us. I feel bad for him being alone, especially now when family is so precious.

I fell about 40 feet while training in the military, destroyed my right knee (lost both ACL and PCL tendons) and had a serious head trauma (which, thank God, didn't impair me mentally - I think...:P) dislocated two discs in my lower back and now live in pain every day from it (winter is the worst.)

But I lived. I know what it feels like to be in a hospital (military or otherwise) for weeks. Especially knowing that your career is over and that you now have to figure out what to do with the rest of your life. Hardest days of my life.

My prayers will be for him tonight. My empathy is surely there already.

I hate to know that someone is in need of help and can't do anything about it.
