Questions about the resource based economy
I've read some about it, but it seems like it's mostly a lot of comforting platitudes and little solid plans or ideas.
Answers to these questions would help me make my mind up about it.
#1: So, if there is no money, that means if you want or need something, you would just go into the local store (Or whatever the distribution point would be called) and take it?
#2: If somebody was really lazy and didn't want to have a job, would they somehow be forced to work, or would the production of goods be made so efficient that a minority of go-getters could make and provide everything society needed?
#3: I understand that most of our crime is related to either artificial scarcity or unrealistic laws, but what about murderers, rapists and the like? What would be done about that problem?
I look forward to serious answers. Thanks in advance.

Re: Questions about the resource based economy
Here:

The Venus Project openly admits its not a perfect system but its better than what we have no.

Everything in life is psychology. We have been raised all our lives to fear others, to conform to individualism, divided by culture or religion, etc and we've lost what we truly are. Human. A common trait that we all share.

Once that has been realized it is then that we can commence with our natural evolution process that has been postponed for so long.

In the beginning I would imagine that there would of course be a work force, but it wouldn't be for money, it would be for the better of mankind. Just how you do a favor for your friend out of love. It will be the same way.

Once we've become advanced enough in the area of technology we will be able to make machines do the laborious task that is time consuming and use that time to better help our society.

A resource economy will also help our Earth and balance out the wrongs we've done and set the balance back to normal.

For your question on lets say a store that needs something, I honestly don't know, but we're humans, our potential is endless, we'll find a way. If there's a will, there's a way.
