Question regarding shapeshifting...

If anyone has any stories that they feel like sharing I would like to hear...I know there are plenty of them out there.

I have the ability to change my face and eyes at will when in certain situations. but in reality it's a shift in the frequency that the person witnessing the change is experiencing. You don't actually change. the persons perception of you does.

then as one learns to develop this particular form of projection they can hone their craft by learning to adjust body position etc.

Shapeshifting usually means physically changing shape.

Like I said, I meant literally...I had a friend in the room at the time this happen and when I came to, she was running out of the house yelling. So this was something that was observed by another individual

I dont think its about shapeshifters. But rather, I believe there maybe some kind of retillian\human hybrid. The reptillian hybrids could be the elite rullers.

The story is very weird because you seem to be seeing yourself doing this all? How is it that you saw what was happening if your eyes were consumed by fire? Is it possible you didn't actually transform but started acting extremely weird and your friend ran away because of that?

Shape-shifting is impossible. Well the type like your typical werewolf who in minutes converts from human form to wolf form.

The amount of energy needed is more than is stored in any one human body at any one time.

Mind we humans do shape shift, most notably during puberty where in a few short years we undergo massive changes that actually do change us into other creatures chemically, physically, emotionally, mentally, etc.

However the kid going through puberty has to eat a lot of calories and not just empty calories, nutritious stuff.

Mass can not be gained during a transformation such as the Twilight werewolves who are so much larger in size than their human counterpart. Mass just does not appear out of no where.

SOME mass can be lost in the way of converting mass into energy, however turning a man into a tiny frog ain't gonna happen there is too much man and not enough frog. And I personally have never seen a 180+ pound frog. Anyone else?

The way cells work means there is a limit in the amount of time that a cell can transform into another type of cell.

Some cancers are real fast and do in fact transform cells quickly, but it still takes longer than a few minutes, it takes hours and days. Cancer is, on a cellular level 'shape-shifting' of the more horrible kind.

It sounds like to me that, because you say, shapeshifting into a terrible monster, but, you also say that you encounterd this monster, it leaves several possabilities.

One thing you might be experiencing is a myth, about a transmittable disease known as Lycanthropy. The most common form of which is known as a werewolf, but is not limited to just wolfmen, and can cause take on the characteristics of a number of different beasts depending on the type of Lycanthropy the victim is infected with.

Another possible reason would be vampirism from being bitten, or exposure from some other undead creature. Undead, unlike Lycanthropes, are dead beings that are not brought back to life, but rather re-animated bodies, no longer having the soul of the creatuer which inhabited the body prior to death.

But from your vague description involving you changing into a terrible monster, yet also encountering this monster, brings to mind a different possability. That description sounds to me more like what is known as a Doppleganger.

Among the many other possabilities is Demons or evil spirits.
This visioning of the monster that is you could also occur from posession, or counter posession of your soul which involves the realm of Sins and their influence and reaction to your being, and that involves Theology and Religion.

Maybe you could make a complete description of this monster and write down the events in as much detail as you can, so it could be narrowed down.

I suspect it occrued to your ind because of some sort of reaction you suffer from what may have been physical, mental, and/or spiritual malady or trauma.

I know, it's a hard one to grasp...I'm positive though that what I experienced was not a collective shared delusion. What she observed that night was so fucked up, she had major suppressed memories because of it and couldn't remember anything that happened that night until years later when we started to talk again. Seems that night when all this took place she went home and told her friend about what had happened and soon afterward we lost contact but we found eachother again after many years had passed and we started talking about that night but she had no recollection of what took place. That night after we met again after all those years passed, she was on the phone with her friend and her friend remembered the story from that night, so that was all the proof that I needed to ensure my sanity. She said she remembered bits and pieces but couldn't remember everything, even I still miss some things that night. Like what happened before and after.

Her friend having remembered just a story of this though after so long is what made it concrete for me. That in itself is another story but it is essential into understanding the validity. What are the odds that someone who wasn't even there would remember the story after so many years and not the person who experienced it themselves? To me, that's classic of someone who is experiencing and having issues with repressed traumatic memories which also means that, as soon as she went home that night, she had a nervous breakdown of some kind I imagine and invited her friend over or called her on the phone (Still not sure how she related the story, only that she did) but I imagine that it was very theatrical...

If I was insane or mentally ill, then I highly doubt my delusion would have been shared in the way it was. For instance, how the hell does the delusion of one person shape and transform another person's mind/perception in such a way that they would actually see what is happening to you if it's a subjective experience. For instance, how could someone be hallucinating without taking any drugs and also be able to share that hallucination without contact?

I actually remember when it happened initially that she said she observed me changing afterwards and it fucking scared her so much that she had to actually get up and run out of the house. I remember also after we reunited years later, after she talked to her friend again, that she said when could remember bits and pieces but not everything but her friend could. I don't know what happened but it was serious.

Lets just say that it felt like I was in a state of disembodiment. Like I was observing what was happening to me from the inside but I could also see what was happening to me from the outside being able to look upon this creature/thing that I was shapeshifting into. As if I was nothing more than a fixated point of awareness. I felt completely alienated and felt a power that I can't even begin to describe. Something snapped me out of the state that I was in but it didn't feel as though I had any control...so that leads me to possession but on the other hand, there was a part of me that wanted to know what this strange sensation was...and I wanted to go with it too, so that leads me to some kind of inderdimentional influence, is there any difference? Personally I dunno... I just don't know why something like this would happen to me. There is much more to the story though, something that is needed to get a better understanding but it starts to get really complicated, and it is a bit long and i'm not sure I want to get into right now.

What was your experience? What do you think you transformed into? Where you in a high-stress situation? Drugs and/or alcohol involved?

The devil is in the details. Who told you the answers would come in time?

Someone I know face changed. He was very beautiful. It was mainly his nose. It was small and snub, like Michael Jackson after plastic surgery. And a very distinctive splatter of freckles. I recall that he was beautiful, not handsome, which is how I would usually describe a good looking male.

His hair also changed length.

If you want a description then this would be what's closest. The horns were a bit different, also the teeth and my eyes were different, but this looks pretty damn close.

Did it all happen over a long period of time?

As to the OP, can you go into more background of the story? I believe your story, but I also believe even though you experienced this event, I don't know how you know it actually happened in physical reality.

What happend? how did the hair and face change?

I was completely sober at the time as well, we both were...I don't know what I change into, I feel it has something to do with spiritual interdimentional influences though. I'm just not sure what kind. I have also pondered that I might have been taken over by a jinn or something of that nature, but honestly i'm still in the dark about so much...but I have had a lot of information pulling me towards the lore of Djinns

His hair changed first. I noted it but didnt comment on it until later when it was long (it had been short.) This was within a couple of weeks.

His face just changed. I was looking at him and it was different. Like I described.

You have to understand, you dont just confront someone when this happens. At first you question your own perception.

It was different. I described it in my prior response. The main thing is that it wasnt horrible like you describe. He was very beautiful.

It didnt change in front of me. It was just different from how he usually looked in major ways that were not faked. I.e hair, nose.

Hey Op. Sorry if this doesnt help you. Its just always played on my mind.

I mean all this would require alot of other beliefs before it can make sense. For example, there have to actually be alternate dimensions for an extra dimensional being to exist, and then dimensions would have to have rifts or lapses where they can impose into this dimension or vice versa, and then other stuff.

What you're describing you turned into is like a modern idea of a demon with horns and stuff.

But things in nature that have horns are just herbivores and don't have anything really scary about them for the most part, like cows and stuff. Usually the most scary thing about horned creatures in life is their size.

Also, for your idea to be true, things need to be able to possess people too. Unless this thing was already inside of you, a part of you.

You could never know for certain what happened, the most you could do is come to certain beliefs about it.

It is possible that everything happened as you may suspect and that there are other dimensions and possession and all that, but it may not be that way at all.

It is also possible that you hit on a little glitch in your own personality where you kept going with something and felt you couldnt stop, found yourself uncontrollably imagining what was happening so that it even felt out of control, and in reality didn't transform into the demon from Doctor Who (or something similar) but just thought you did while the girl just saw you acting crazy and freaking out, ran away.

I think episodes of people going through this are not entirely uncommon, but many people going through it are called insane or experiencing an episode of mental illness.

It could be based in something outside yourself, it could be based entirely in you.

The nicest thing I could say about it though is that I believe you and your story.

If it wasn't too painful, do you think you can light a candle and do it again, this time with a video tape? Something cool might happen like static or other disturbances. Do you think you could repeat it or re enact it?

I think that you started acting like a demon or scary, and once you started found you couldn't stop (and maybe even weren't aware of how it started), and so it kept going until you even scared yourself and snapped out of it (or some part of you noticed the girl running away and so wanted her to stay.

There are some kids in the world who do really weird things, and they feel in retrospect that they had no control over their crazy actions, but really maybe they just liked the girl?

I believe your story too. I can believe its possible that people grow their hair long and start looking different within a week or so. I often look different too. Sometimes peoples eyes change between blue and other colors because different things get activated at different times.

An animal changes fur color depending on temperature sometimes.

I guess shapeshifting in those senses is common.

In the case of the OP, his experience seems like he was aware of the shifts, as compared to Mr.Beautiful. It could be diet related.

It could be diet related for the OP too. Some foods could potentially cause a person to have a crazy episode.

I guess it would start with the place we moved into where this happened. This story makes me feel a little out of place because it makes me feel like i'm something i'm not. Anyway, there was a girl who lived down the street from me who just so happened to be the girl that I thought was beautiful in my yearbook photo. I remember saying, "What I wouldn't give to be with her" and shortly after that we got together...almost like it was planned...was very strange how it happened. She told me that when she first saw me, she saw some kind of white aura around me which I thought was strange. After being together for a while and getting to know me she started to play head games with me and started to try to fuck with my head saying her ex was the left hand of the devil and I was the right hand of god and I had to save her from her ex. Her ex was also her weed dealer which see would visit often.

I remember one night though were she started acting erratically like she was possessed talking in another voice...what seemed like pretending at first but she just wouldn't give it up the act. I kept saying stop fucking around shaking her, trying to get her to snap out of it but her eyes were rolling this way and that and she wouldn't drop her character so I ended up giving her some kind of halfass self version exorcism which finally worked after what seemed like 10-15 minutes.

We ended up breaking up about a year or so later but I was thinking that whatever happened with me might have been from what I did that night, that there might have been some truth to what she was telling me....and not about her boyfriend being the left hand of the devil and me being the right hand of god lol but maybe there was some truth to her being in communication with something...Some wicked spirit trying to fuck with our heads. I mean, what are the odds that this happens right before my encounter and right down the street too? but I know, I know...I should have dumped that girl right then and there lol

Anyways, what happened to me took place not long after that like I said. Perhaps I invoked something when I was trying to help her. My early years were really fucked up like this though, that was the second time I had to personally perform some kind of halfass self-version exorcism. I did mess with a quija a lot though when I was younger but I don't think that had any part in the story i'm telling now even though I know that some spirits can follow you around after using those things, sometime for a long time. Most will probably automatically think this too I imagine. I still feel like it's more complicated.

His hair went from shoulder length to quite long. Like half way down his back!

I told a friend about it and she disbelieved me.

Later (within a year or so) she said she had run into him and he had a beard. I told her that I had just seen him and he was hairless!

He had some power over 'hair'.
