Why haven't we seen some genetic freak female make the roster on one of America's Big 4 sports?

There are female softball pitchers capable of striking out good major league hitters. That's been proven in exibitions. The combination of high velocity and underhand delivery can throw off good hitters. If I owned a major league team that needed to boost attendance I would consider signing one of these women to work in short relief situations. Male pitchers with a "submarine" delivery have done very well in the majors. Decades ago Bill Veek put a midget in the White Sox lineup as a gimmick, but the little guy walked every time he batted because his strike zone was so tiny. Signing a female pitcher would be "gimmicky", but could also help a team on the field.

All the really good ones are throwing bales in the Ukraine.

Even the most athletic woman is only 2/3 capability of a real man, that's why.

Name more than one woman in history who has demonstrated she could do that. Regardless, she'd have virtually zero offensive value or endurance to pitch a full season. She might have some value in the locker room though or the team hot tub or something similar. She could even help with the cooking and laundry I suppose.

If women had the ability they would be in the elite levels of sport already.

Because those are mens sports.

And should stay that way. They don't do it in high school or college either. I have no problems with women in sports but there needs to be "womens" professional sports.

Like womens MMA or WNBA. There are some genetic freaks and very talented players. And I am sure some women basketball players are better than a lot of NBA guys, but shouldn't mix the 2 leagues.

Save that for charity pickup games or AllStar weekend

I wouldn't have a problem with mixing as long as women didn't expect to be treated like women.
