(OP) User ID: 1211901 United States 12/30/2010 06:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | He doesn't expect me to blindly obey. He expects blind faith and to use my good sense when it comes to obedience. His control thing is both a blessing and a curse. It makes him great at his job, and a good leader, but it also heaps him with responsibility. Quoting: Smoulderin'GalAnd no worries, I know we differ on this one. Blind faith? Like you should just have faith that he will lead you in the right direction always? Why? Is not a mere human who can and does make mistakes? Sounds like he has exalted himself as God, which of course he is not. And thanks, hon. You rock in that regards! He expects blind faith that his intentions are good and that he honestly has the family's best interest at heart. Blind faith in his love and commitment, much like he has for me in that regard. He doesn't expect anyone to believe he's always right, because god know, he isn't. He wants me to have faith in him, in us- not to expect that he'll walk on water. Hehe, that was funny. M, if he starts walking on water, healing the sick, or raising the dead, I am so going to eat my words, lol Seriously though, I do understand what you're saying. And I do believe that he believes that he has your best interests at heart. Sometimes people just don't realize it when they are doing wrong, it's not intentional, that's what I think it going on here. And this is only my opinion, far be it from to say that I am 100% right, because only God can claim that. I wish you luck, and ask you to excercise wisdom. If something 'feels' very wrong, then don't be afraid to voice it. You are an important individual, and your feelings should never be swept under the rug. Don't let anyone tell you, you are second best Thanks for being sweet. FWIW, he always tells me I'm the best. It seems like it would compound the pain. Thanks. Good question. Wish I had an answer. I don't have any real desire for the kink. If it were gone tomrrow, I'd be fine. The control issue is different. User ID: 1193082 United States 12/30/2010 07:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... This is what women want. They want to make babies, then as soon as the babies are old enough that they are not 100% reliant on their mothers women largely turn their backs, and are perfectly happy with the government taking over from there. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1210437For some reason women do not want to stay home and raise their children anymore. As soon as that infant stage is over BAM, they either make the choice to have another, or they want out of the house and to work full time away from the family. Int he end, the feminist movement does nothing but empower the .gov, generate corporate profits, and impoverish the American people economically and morally. I agree with the last paragraph, partially agree with the middle paragraph, and disagree with the first. Women who had one child and are staying home would naturally want to conceive again. This often requires that they stop breast-feeding their baby, so the hormones in their body can readjust. Or maybe the baby stops breastfeeding on his or her own. Therefore if that's true (and I know it's not 100% true), it follows logically that those women who do not want more kids will seek to go back to work. But I've found that most women get quite attached to their babies. Men too. If the economics were easier probably more would stay home. Where feminism has had its biggest effect is in those women who never sought to have kids, or waited until they were too old. They never switched into "mother mode". I've read quite a number on the 'net, saying they wish they would have had a baby when they were younger and could do so. . DON'T VAX, PROPHYLAX! ____________ There is no anger in Me: If one offers Me thorns and thistles, I will march to battle against him, And set all of them on fire. But if he holds fast to My refuge, He makes Me his friend; He makes Me his friend. (Isaiah 27:4-5) |

It seems like it would compound the pain. Thanks. I'm no stranger to kink in the bedroom...though in our house, that is where it stays. Our real life interaction is entirely typical of modern husband/wife equality. Here we are witness to an entirely different layer of the dom/sub relationship. It's seems to be the 'life dynamic', where for most it stays purely within the sexual realm. I don't see the appeal but I am not one to cast stones either. It could be psychological and I'm sure it is to some degree but I'm not positive that makes it a horrible behavior or life choice. Again, D's Pet has always expressed her pleasure.
