All "isms" aside, to me that is what counts, if you are happy and healthy then to hell with what anyone else thinks of your choices, they don't live your life, you do. The goal of equality was to give women the choices to live as they chose as freely as men always have - and you seem to have done that. Who can say it's right or wrong for you other than yourself? Seems like half the women on GLP can say what's right and wrong for everyone else. LOL It's just odd that they can't voice an opinion without it turning into an attack. I wonder what's behind that? Is it feminism? Is it their character? Is it bitterness about being wronged by a man?  I'm of mixed opinion here - I can see so many sides to this it leaves my head spinning. We are a community here- and those who are openly different are subject to scrutiny, ranging from curiosity to scorn. As they say you cannot please everyone. Nikki had a terrible time when she first came here, but has ridden out the storm and gained friendships despite all that. Just as you have the right to your life and individual choices- they have the right to react to the person they see before them. Who can say what those reactions are based upon- there are women here who have suffered horrible abuse at the hands of those they love and they could perhaps be triggered by some of the things you say and present. While you choose your life and are happy in it, they were not so lucky and i can see how they could want to "save" you from yourself as it were.... There are others who will reject you based upon their personal beliefs in religion, societal place etc... Humans are endless in our contrivances to divide ourselves from one another and have someone to be "better" than  Again , for me it all comes down to living life the best way I can for myself and my family. Period. My life has not been a conventional one , though perhaps not as unconventional as yours - and I am fairly open about who I am and how I feel on most topics so I know there will be those who would judge me but I refuse to let that determine who I am or how I live. hope some of that convoluted ramble makes sense....
