I went to see the Ball Drop in person once. It was way before I knew of GLP but, the year I figured, it HAD to be done. 2000. There we were counting down, I had my GF at the time in my arms, couple friends, and I looked at my one friend who had his GF in HIS arms and I said dude.. We are in the middle of Time Square Central in the worst POSSIBLE fucking place we could be if this shit actually goes down...

And it didn't. Go Figure...

I was always of the opinion that Chawlee didn't drink

We are takn the kids to a midnight bowling event that is local to us. Food sodas bowling. MAYBE a coupla drinks,,, MAYBE.

A few close friends are going too so we should have a pretty good time.

The best part is that after midnight they are doing a
BLACK LIGHT BOWL

That should be interesting and fun.

I am chaining myself to the radiator with a Rosie O'Donnel Marathon on the tv and a bottle of Makers Mark just out of reach. At midnight when the hate and frustration build to a crescendo I have instructed the woman that runs the local soup kitchen to enter my house and pour a bottle of cheap wine down my throat. Then kick me in the groin.

It's going to be a great year.
