Was it 2% of the SS deduction or 2% of your total paycheck?
Quoting: J-RicoSS Tax last yr (2010) was 6.2% of your taxable gross salary - for 2011 - it is 4.2% of your gross taxable salary - a reduction of 2% of your gross taxable salary on another note - your welcome op - check to see if more is being withheld for other items - f/wt, s/wt etc
