So check this out. Upon further review, my FICA was reduced appropriately by $26.16 BUT they changed other tax tables so now the net of my 'tax break' is in actuality only $6.60. See, no gift. Nothing is ever free. Decrease one tax, making it look all nicey nice, then adjust the other tax tables so individuals do not even get to realize the benefit unless they are playing with their deductions. FFS. TYPICAL TPTB
