My dog is driving me crazy

Something have her spooked or is she like this all the time? My Pug is almost 2 and she gets whiny too, last time she was like that we found out we had mice.

Yikes, no mice but I think she is ADHD. I play with her all the time and she just cant get enough. Errgh She likes to play tug on her rope. I think my arm has been dislocated several times. LOL

I used to take her on long hikes, run her, everything and she still is ready for more play. Its hard to take her on a leash, she is sooo big and pulls me. Ive tried the dog whisper technique but she's not having it.

Pay more attention to it and never let it out of your sight.

My boxer is doing that. Driving me nuts.

She is a very pampered pup! Maybe too spoiled for her own good.

Hmmmm...Well who knows but she should be calming down soon if you said she is two.

U should only have to deal with the hyperactivity for about 1 to 2 more years!!

You have to be serious about it or else get used to the fact she is the dominant one and gets to decide what is right or wrong.

I have a dog who used to act like this... wouldn't learn very easy either...too unfocused. Turned out he was allergic to grain. We got him switched to grain free dog food and then later to a prey model raw diet. He's laying by my feet in front of the heater right now...totally relaxed

If they are deciding when you will pet and pamper them guess who is in charge?

2 year old Labs ~ARE~ hyper and full of energy.

They are retrievers... throw a ball and they retrieve a THOUSAND TIMES!!!

Way after you lose interest and energy, they will keep going and going.

Find an outlet. A lake for swimming, fake ducks for retrieving (over and over), a tread mill, a bike for his "walks", etc.

You chose the breed, you must deal with it.

Antifreeze ummm no.. Dont want to kill my animals thanks. Its funny though because I do throw the ball and she will retrieve it probably 3 times and lose interest. She is a chewer so I have massive chew toys for her and she likes that.
I take her to the dog park and she doesnt want to play with the other dogs. No interest. She loves to swim but too cold now. I hope in another year she will chillax!!
