Everyone should be prepared for these things, but if you are in the circumference of the mapped New Madrid, then you had better do it now. The problem with the New Madrid is it covers a lot of basically flatland areas. There arte no large mountains to soak up the movement so the quake/quakes travel for long distances, hundreds of mile and cause massive damage. Look up the last large New Madrid quake in 1811. I will try to post some of the damage and experiences that were recorded. The Mississippi River was completely altered and there was massive upheavels. It was far less populated back then...I cannot imagine what the possibities would be today given gas mains, water mains, power lines, etc. all these things did not exist then. Located in Columbus suburbs. Quoting: farmergirlin reynoldsburg and i didn't feel nothing here "Wisdom is nothing more than healed pain." Robert E. Lee :tomato: Instead of wanting everyone to share and know of their discoveries the Pythagorean s suppressed the square root of two and the dodecahedron. The outside world was not to know. The Pythagoreans had discovered, in the mathematical underpinnings of nature, one of the two most powerful scientific tools, the other of course is experiment, but instead of using their insight to advance the collective voyage of human discovery they made of it little more than the hocus-pocus of a mystery cult. Science and mathematics were to be removed from the hands of the merchants and the artisans. |

There will soon be some major occurances. Quoting: farmergirlPreparation is wise. Store food, water, meds and campout supplies in outshed or out side wall side of garage etc, for easy access and do your best to eliminate dangers of objects that could fall on you while sleeping, etc. Tie large objects like free standing china cupboards to studs. Make sure your water tank is secure and tied...you may need the uncontaminated water it contains. Better safe than sorry. Thanks for the tips. I'm on a farm and have my own well, livestock and an RV for bugging out. I'm not totally prepped but better off than most, in many ways. So are we, farm, animals, well, but your well supply can be drastically altered by shifts and quakes. The underground pools and streams change, leaving wells completely useless. If you have animals you will need a lot of water and surface water such as streams can become contaminated in these conditions. What would you recommend for them in case of contamination? It's not difficult to prep for humans, but they consume too much water to store much. Do you have any ideas for this? |

Bleach should do the trick. Google up how to use it for water purification. The animals will let you know if it's drinkable or not. God Bless President TRUMP! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! |

I heard one yesterday that was like a massive dinosaur stomping its feet. I keep checking USGS, but NOTHING. Also, I should mention that there have been DOZENS of airplanes flying over my house, spraying shit all morning. Dozens upon dozens of them. And I live NO WHERE near an airport. The closest AFB is 2 hours away. I got 13 of these planes on camera the other day, spraying shit. Our sky always looks like a chess board. Chemtrails galore! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1218345Scientists have now confirmed that the safest possible place to be in the event of an earthquake is in a basement. Its science. That's stupid.. the safest place to be in an earthquake is outside away from any building.. Earthquakes do not kill people, buildings kill people. |

If the water is fairly clear then 8 drops of clorox per gallon of water is the general consensus. "Man was also in the beginning with God.
