Re: Received email from Cornell Lab of Ornithology re birds.
Dear Kerry,
We have all been very concerned about the deaths of Red-winged Blackbirds in Arkansas and Louisiana. Much as I'd like to have a definite answer as to what happened, I don't have it yet. There are a few things we know, however. Red-winged Blackbirds tend to roost in large numbers during the winter months so, if something affects a roost, it affects a lot of birds. This is an unusual event in which the birds suffered blunt force trauma which suggests that they collided with something. What caused them to leave their roost at night, however, is still under investigation. Hopefully we'll all have answers once the results of the necropsies (the bird equivalent of an autopsy) are finished.
There's so much going on at the Lab that is fascinating. To learn more about some of those activities, sign up for our monthly eNewsletter.

The highlighted part is attached to all their emails. lol

They are concerned.
They do not consider it normal.
They also think the birds had to have collided with something.

Yes it is clearly the "blunt trauma" aspect that is making this seem as if it is NOT just an issue of mass infection.

I did read that the blunt trauma may simply have occurred as the birds dropped dead from the sky and impacted ground... but I suspect the blunt trauma occurred during flight and that is weird as hell and makes me think its something exotic like haarp.

They don't think its normal for all those birds to die. What scared them, what did they hit?
Not mass infection or as some of suggested toxic gases escaping from the ground. If that was the case other animals would be dead.

You should follow up and point out all the other locations around the world that are experiencing the same thing.... This isn't just an isolated "flock of birds collided with something".

They only fly at night if they are migrating, which they where not. Already at their winter grounds.

Something certainly scared them.

This may be a good posibility as the ships are very big and they may give off some kind of sonar that attracts the birds

Re: Received email from Cornell Lab of Ornithology re birds.
I'm willing to bet that autopsy has revealed that the birds died from oxygen starvation.

just none of the people who were on site thought to look to see what color the mouths (tongue especially) was on the birds, thus no one 'in the loop' of official inquiry can tell us other than the 'official story'.

The birds in Italy have 'blue mouths' indicative of hypoxia (lack of oxygen).

As your bird friend if they showed signs of hypoxia. Let us know how he answers.

I bet he will either lie, or he will skirt the issue.
