I have had it on in the background since the news broke. I flip news channels to see what they are saying, you know?

Like Obama's "oops" moment with "WAS" during the speech. VERY telling.

A Doctor who was standing near the Congresswoman and rendered aid to victims. Or so he is saying.

i had it on in the background, just to be aware of the propaganda being massively inserted into the american consciousness.

about half an hour ago they were repeatedly saying "domestic terrorists" and associating them with anti-government websites, etc. totally playing their hand.

Has anyone ever said why they are sure it was the Congresswoman that was the target? Wasn't there a Federal judge there, too?

First thing I thought was that this is an excuse to put heavy protection around the Congress people, and providing a "reason" to stop interacting with the "people."

not really saying anything new.. says he saw the shooting, helped hold the shooter down after someone else tackled him.

the beginning of his interview was kind of fishy sounding. he was describing the shirt the congresswoman was wearing, it sounded scripted.

The judge is dead. I don't know why the headlines read "Congresswoman Shot, Five Others Dead" instead of "Federal Judge, Four Others Dead, Congresswoman Shot."

He has just stated that the shooter was not alone, and the guy with him ran.

he says he saw the shooter intentionally target the congresswoman from only a few feet away.

says he saw a 2nd person running away around the time of the incident.

And that is exactly what bothers me.

Might be why the police are running all over the valley, eh?

Husband has been watching this unfold for hours on the TV and he is in a shitty mood now.

Which news outlet carried the cops shooting dude in wheelchair? None?

No statement given to the press is admissable in court if it hasn't been documented with law enforcement investigators. Even then, witnesses are typically counseled to NOT talk to the press about an ongoing investigation, especially since the suppsed shooter is alive and an attorney can easily discredit all witnessess talking to the press in defense. Dr. Rayle is a liar and scripted actor playing a role. Whomever they're holding will be dead soon.

Or he was laying the ground for the "second shooter"...

I really think the shooter was meant to kill himself.

I'm wondering how they're gonna get rid of him before he talks. A suicide is going to look extremely suspicious.

Something I find interesting is that usually there are 5-10 eye witnesses calling in with their side of the story. So far I've only heard from this one Dr. who hid behind a pole and played dead. Or at least that is all I've heard of so far.

I read that the Pima County sheriff is saying that the 2nd suspect wasn't a shooter. Maybe a "handler" a la the Beltway Sniper?

Following the principle of Occam's Razor, and assuming this is not a cruel hoax (the link to Jared is only a week old), an interesting possibility suggests itself!

Loughner and Giffords knew each other. Jared Loughner twice worked for Gabrielle Giffords' campaign!

Gabrielle Gifford subscribes to Jared Loughner's YouTube channel, effectively linking her public YouTube channel to his YouTube channel. Why? Loughner's YouTube channel doesn't have much in it, and what is there might create some unpleasant concerns in the minds of Giffords' constituents. And Giffords only subscribed to one other channel, meaning this was not something she normally did as a matter of course.

One thing we can know from the subscription from Gabrielle Giffords' subscribing to Jared Loughner's YouTube channel; they were close, closer than the usual candidate/volunteer, close enough that Jared Loughner shared his YouTube channel with Gabrielle Gifford, and Gabrielle Gifford thought it important enough to link her own YouTube channel to.

So here is the "what if?" What if Jared Loughner misread Gabrielle Giffords' level of interest in him? What if he thought there was more than there really was? And what if, in the post-campaign season when Gabrielle Giffords had no more reason to spend any time with him, Jared Loughner felt jilted and betrayed?
I know it reads like a soap opera, but we do have a murder that fits the description of a crime of passion, involving two people with a demonstrated close relationship.

And if it should be revealed that we are dealing with a classic case of a wronged lover and infatuation gone deadly, all those political operatives like the Democrats, the gun grabbers, Southern Poverty Law Center, etc. trying to spin this tragedy to benefit their agendas are going to wind up looking like horses' rear ends!

The more I look at that YouTube subscription, the more sense this all seems to make.
