Coming from the Christian faith myself, a test of authority was readily given by people who were promoting the NT as being authoritative. Drowning would only mean having to give mouth-2-mouth after so maybe something a little less drastic might be in order today. Water-boarding with chlorinated water and not flinch would impress me enough to listen to what he was proposing. (checking out the validity might take a few days)

I doubt any of those fat fucks would be willing to lead the charge either. Forget the conceal permit, wear the holster and weapon in plain sight and only low powered rounds so one bullet doesn't take out 3 people.

My weapon of choice would be a bb or .177cal hand-pumped single shot pellet pistol.

A 8 barrel bb shot rotary 'cannon' powered by paint-ball air sources does have a bit of appeal from the technical design aspect of such a critter rather that it being a 'Christian' desire. I agree with the sheriff, who is a person that has to deal with the precipitates of hate every day. He knows where the hate is coming from because the perpetrators he's been dealing with parrot the right wing propagandists like Limbaugh, Palin, Hannity, ORielly, Coulter, and Beck. These people bring nut-jobs out of the woodwork.

Because I live where I do, most of my friends are very conservative. They spew "kill the liberals" type of hate shit all the time, and they all watch Fox News media, listen to Limbaugh, and any other right wing radicals that spout abject hatred of liberals.

It's funny really, because they don't even know I'm a liberal because I don't fit the cartoonish chimera that their demagogues create for them.

I'm not saying they're directly responsible, but if a person is intelligent and knows full well that millions of people may be hanging on their every word, they should also be perspicacious enough to understand human nature. That is, stupid people love to hate and some of them don't know where to draw the line between what they would like to do and what they are willing to do. It's a fine line with stupid people.

All my conservative friends are not that stupid and know the difference between bullshit talk and homicidal action. But if you are a hate mongering MSM demagogue, you have to recognize that a small percentage of your audience will take your hate over the edge.

Jared Lee Loughner, the suspected gunman in Saturday's Arizona shooting, attended a high school that is part of a network in which teachers are trained and provided resources by a liberal group founded by Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers and funded by President Obama, WND has learned.

The group, Small Schools Workshop, has been led by a former top communist activist who is an associate of Ayers.

Obama provided the group with funds in the 1990s when he worked at an education reform group alongside Ayers. Loughner attended Mountain View High School, which is part of Arizona's Morana Unified School District.

Since 2003, Mountain View has been part of what is known as the Smaller Learning Community, a network of schools that have been restructured to create a more personalized learning environment where students often have the same teachers and fellow students from grade to grade.

Well, when Rush first got on the radio, Jared wasn't even born. he's been on for 26 years, something like that. So no, I don't think so. The killer didn't listen to Rush. He was a liberal, and the kids that grew up on him aren't' the ones shooting up grocery stores.

All the radio hosts (that the government, like a shameless thug bully, goes after some guy in a room with a mic, it's like sending the football team to beat the crap out of a puppy), have been around long before and will be around long after they are a memory, just like the players from 26 years ago...

I cited several of them above. They do nothing but breed CONTEMPT for the liberal point of view. It's gotten so bad that the word "liberal" is used in the most despicable context possible.

Like I already mentioned, most of my friends are wing-nuts and they talk about how much they like their favorite demagogues, and how they like to starve or exterminate all the dirty rotten, lousy, stinking, good for nothing liberals right off the planet. It's funny as hell, because they have no clue that I'm actually a liberal, and if I told them I was, they probably wouldn't believe it.

What they've been trained to think what a liberal is, is some sort of imaginary chimera that whines like a love sick school girl, is too lazy to work, wants everything given to him for free, wants all drug to be legal, hates guns and wants to take them away from everybody, and tons more bullshit perceptions that have been planted in their minds by the demagogues they admire. It's no wonder there is so much hatred.

The Sheriff might be a 'local boy' but RL should know who pulls the strings in places like DC. Replacing the Gov doesn't go high enough. WWI was the first time all bank loans were honored no matter who won or who lost. That should be enough to warrant further investigation for all battles right there. WWII showed the business men how profitable war was, the part they missed is the profit was there because many people were working on very large projects. War means tearing something down and then rebuilding it. The same amount spent on 'public works' would still have positive returns. That means the choice that it is war is there because of the bank having the say on how the 'loans' are spent. Apparently reducing poverty overall is not something they see as being in their interest.

Even if the US was to revert to 50+ Sovereign Republics if the banks retain any control that allows usury as it has been practiced. Haiti won the physical war with France, for the first time in the history of the world the 'winner' was saddled with a 'debt'. 250 years later it was finally paid off. America's debt is many times that.

Being bitten in the ass is part of 'the gamble'. The American Rabid Dog can turn on the Banksters and 'liberate' $700T. After settling all the debts of all the Nations there is a net profit of some $640T.

Failing that they are about to experience what 'left holding the bag' really means when the 'robbed' are incited. The Sherrif is right, IMHO.
