I couldn't pay my taxes last year, so I owe about $2,000 which I can't pay, thanks to the tax increase. This year will be even worse..

So I am taking my job and moving to a state that doesn't have any state income taxes...I can no longer afford to live in California...

That's really the problem for the state, because anyone who can will leave, because many millions like me cannot afford to live in California anymore.

So, the state is losing it's tax base...

The reason, that the state is so F'D is that real estate is falling, and falling and falling, and will eventually hit 1970 levels....without real estate tax revenune, many cities and counties will go bankrupt...

That means a default on municpal bonds, so California's rating will plummet, which means more grief....for the state...spiraling downward, ...

Brown is making a big mistake, and he's likely to end up getting removed like Gray Davis...or at least only a one termer...

There are solutions, like one, heavily taxing money that's sent to Mexico, encourage illegals to buy goods in California and ship them back home...instead of sending money..

Give tax credits to companies that allow people to work at home via the internet..

Giving government grants to universities to develop alternative fuel sources, and increase tax credits for homeowners to go solar....

legalizing Cannabis and tax it, using technoligical solutions to reduce the inmate popultion of the jails... and putting a cap on the amount of Child support fathers have to pay, reforming family law court....

without some vision, it's over...

I used to work for the Welfare department and what most Americans do not realize is that there is NO food stamps or cash aid for those who can not provide proof that they are in the country legally! The problem is that their children who were born in the country can get benefits. So if a illegal mother has four children then the family will get food stamps for 4 people rather then 5. The mother is excluded. I think that one way we can correct the problem is by saying that if you have a child in the United States of America then the child will only be a citizen if one of the parents can provide proof of legal residency! Either a green card or citizenship. This mess of women coming across the border to have the child so they can stay in the United States is BS!

To bad, you people in Kalifornia deserve what you get for voting the socialist pigs into office.
Maybe the next election, folks will vote differently to prove they are not idiots, but I doubt it........good luck.
