Pete King, one of the few pro-gun control Republicans in the House of Representatives, today introduced new legislation that would make it illegal to bring a gun within 1,000 feet of a government official. Bloomberg, a staunch gun control advocate, and Rep. King appeared together at a press conference in New York City just days after a gunman killed six people and wounded Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords during a political event in Tuscon. More than a dozen people were hurt in the spray of bullets during the daytime event. It's a retarded law. Not that that's what will prevent it from passing, but it'll never pass. Clayton - 1st Law of Tyranny: Dictators come and go. The people never die. - Anon The real truth that dare not speak itself is that no one is in control [of the world], absolutely no one. Now there may be entities seeking control; the World Bank, the Communist Party, the rich... But to seek control is to take enormous aggravation upon yourself because this process that is underway will take the control freak by the short and curlies and throw them against the wall. - Terence McKenna Nature has a certain order. The ants pick the food, the ants KEEP the food and the grasshoppers leave! - Princess Atta That government is best which governs not at all; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have. - Henry David Thoreau |

Proof the govt. and the minions are morons (or morans, for those illiterates).... What if you Conceal Carry? How would one know if someone walking down the street is a "government official" and if so, am I supposed to turn and run? What if they happen to be driving down the street? In perspective, I just happen to have seen a commercial on TV today for a prescription "Stop Smoking" drug and among the many side effects listed was "suicidal tendencies"? Guns are not the problem people. People are the problem, and that's because our Corporate Government has sold their collective souls to the Corporations, who do not give a poo about what happens to the populace, as long as their is money, power and profit as part of the sale... |
