Also, get rice in airtight, sealed bags if you can - if any bugs are inside, they can't breathe and therefore die. Sometimes individual bags of rice are cheaper than mass bulk bags - so be sure to calculate money-to-weight ratio. This can be better as the individual bags tend to be sealed.

Be sure to get a variety of nutritious foodstuffs in. You can't survive on carbohydrates alone.

here's a tip, dont advertise online that you're stockpiling food and weapons

thats a sure fire way to make you one of the first targets when it all goes down.

i know field peas are not rice lol but i have had some i put away for y2k and they are still good as well as some water that oddly enough is still drinkable

If you have access to a raw milk source. You do not have to refrigerate raw milk. It will simply turn to yogurt and cheese
in a closed container.

Besides, this is for survivalist tips, not just for stockpiling, EG being able to survive without access to food supplies or clean water.

i have found that if you use big food storage barrels it is best to put a dessecant pack in there to get rid of moisture

I also made a list of items I need to buy. Since I'm in a budget I organized It by order of importance. Importance indicating "Length of days to death". The fewer days I would survive without the item, the higher it is on the list. I'll buy those ones first. Towards the bottom who can say which is more important so they're just a mix of stuff I need eventually.

Water containers - stainless steel for Boiling to clean the water, and and to carry as a water bottle on the run

ANTIBIOTIC - if you are sick you need immediate attention to survive. This is 2nd importance after water-
-Antibiotics (civilization cure)
-Manuka honey, tea tree oil (nature's cure)
-how to make colloidal silver. Write out step by step for when Internet goes down. Buy alligator clips, needed to make it.
Yarrow plant- stops bleeding
BOOKS of natural antibiotics, and pictures to identify them yourself in the wild
