political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

It's a human made disater, not a war zone. Build houses and cities on a flood plain and sooner or later you're gonna get flooded.

a war isnt a human made disaster?

These are big cities with money--they'll recover and they'll recover quickly.
My town did and we didn't even have much money. What we had was determination.

Why you still see devastation from Katrina is because no one there cared to make it right again. They gave up.

I've got some friends in Brisbane, I know they are okay but they don't know how bad their house got it because they evacuated, but they are close to the water so.......they saw now 30,000 homes possibly destroyed. Some will be salvageable, most will not. It sucks. My heart and prayers are with them, Aussies are good people.
