Very sorry OP. There is no cure for torn ACL, only surgery will fix the problem, then your dog will be good as new. One of my Akitas suffered this at age 8, had surgery, lived on an active life until 14 & 1/2 years old. The surgery involves something akin to a strong elastic band replacing the ligament. Good luck, your dog will be fine after surgery.
