POLL: Should a Governor ban what state employees do on their free time?
Yes, they are representatives of his administration
No, if it is done on their free time the Governor is impinging on their 1st amendment rights
I don't agree with talk radio at all and anything goes.

Earlier in the week, Rhode Island's Governor Chafee has banned state employees from talking/calling into talk radio stations; now, he wants to ban advertisers from "supporting" talk radio.

The ban came because talk radio is essentially "ratings-driven, for-profit programming" that was not appropriate use of state employees' time, Chafee said.

The whole "fairness doctrine" wanted by the left is a sham.

Any of the left leaning talk radio shows have abysmal ratings comparative to the right leaning talk shows.

The ratings speak for themselves, people are tired of having the leftist agenda pushed on us for acceptance so now they want to mandate that their agenda is aired with "equal" airtime.
