The soundtrack for the movie is awesome, in fact i need another cd of it. I have worn out the disk. Movie was highly disturbing though but certain parts left one to ponder. I was more affected by the music...

Cage says half way through "you are all going to die December 21st 2012". I thought that was interesting.

Nicholas Cage movies quite often tell of something that "the powers that wanta be" are fixing to try to pull off.

You see, they beleive that it's just fine to do anything they want to do to you as long as they tell you in advance that they are going to do it. If you're to stupid to hear them and get the hell out of the way... well, that's tour problem.

Its all been said, over and over, a zillion times over the past decade, even more if you go back further.. and still it seems like no one cares, nothing has changed, very little new has been exposed, just a flood of youtube "music industry exposure" videos and blogs referencing the same Fritz Springmeier, Brice Taylor and Cathy O'Brien books from the '90s.

I'm a bit cynical, but hey, I'll play along for old times sake:

my take on it was not as a trigger, but more of amn expose', reason I asked if anyone could enlighten me to other clues


maybe all he was saying was that the star tattoo is replacing the butterfly, or simply a statement about hollywood (looks like all the youngs starlets are sportin star tattoos) and the abuse it dishes out to America

OK I did notice a few more things, when "Mrs. Christian" is telling Cage about her husbands unusual money withdrawels totalling one million dollars, she says the checks were written between Novenber 1992 and March 1993, vague allusion to the '92 presidential election?

also when Cage and "Max California" go to see "Dino Velvet" (east coast pornographer), the scene begins next door passing a meat packing house, with slabs of raw meat being handled and carted out in the open

BTW the west coast pornographer "Eddie Poole" was played by Gandolphini, aka Don Soprano
