When I was in elementary school, in the 50s and 60s, I went to school in Alabama, and Louisiana, in Alabama, I took a class called civics. We learned about the Constitution and how the government worked. Kids don't get that any more. I'm not too sure they ever did out side the deep south. I'm sad to say, where I work I try to educate my coworkers who seem to know nothing of the Constitution. I have a small copy of it on my desk, and it is getting worn out from all the people reading it. They want to learn, but who is teaching?
