I got 23 out of 33 correct.. a 69.something Percent...
But I believe there is a lot of bullshitting going on in this thread... after reading many many posts on this site, I find it hard to believe many of you are smarter than me.
I noticed the scores on the 3rd page seemed more honest than the first 2 though... Maybe many of us with lower scores didn't report our results, and only the brainy smurfs of the bunch posted theirs, but the site average seems a bit high to me...
To that end, all of you who did well, congrads.. some of the questions were a bit tricky. I also don't see what relevance the actions of Franklin Roosevelt did in the 30s has on the issues of today.
Other than getting duped by the Federal Reserve, screwing all Americans, and permanently selling us all in to indentured servitude... However, I did notice that wasn't on the test.
They might as well have asked What Role the Barbie Doll did for US economic relations in the 50s for all it matters... it has about the same relevance as some o the questions.
Quoting: Himie 1177014If you study FDR you will find it is very relevant today. FDR was very popular, but he laid the ground work for a lot of very bad things that have come to fruition in the last 3 decades. He was not the first "big government progressive", but, he took it to a whole new level. If you understand history, you may not have to repeat it. We are just now reaping what FDR sowed. Knowing the history of America is almost as important as knowing the Constitution. Everyone needs to tell their reps in Washington that the Constitution is a literal, not a "dynamic" document. Please don't make us repeat history to learn that.
