I was 10 miles from the quake. Shook me right out of bed and instantly awake. That was the biggest quake I have ever been through.

The 17th is the 20th anniversary of the beginning of the 1991 Gulf War also:

I'm the father and developer of the weather quake theory and this next week is likely a big one in California... just by going by my theoretical numbers.

I may or may not release the quotes to the media.

You're the father of a weather quake theory and think this next week in likely a big one in California ... or you withholding your findings from everyone, like those of us at GLP?

Would you want to share if it helps in some way? Like can your theory possibly prevent deaths?

I've also read (and anyone who remembers can clarify), but the weather in the 2-4 days prior was very warm for winter, in January.

Has it NOT been unusually warm the last 2-3 days???

Not sure what the weather was like in the Valley, but right before the Northridge Quake, in Oxnard, we were in the middle of VERY wet rainy season...Oxnard/Ventura had loads of rain that January.

I remember the ground was dried out from the rain the day of the quake though... no puddles around... so it must have been pretty dry for a few days prior.

hmm

Right now I live about 2-3 miles away from the epicenter of that earthquake. I was almost 2 years old when it happened and fortunately I didn't get hurt.

Well, you didn't make me feel very good with that, but.. at least I know it's really going to suck and be scary as hell when it does go down *sigh* Did you have a lot of damage here in Oxnard?
 Quoting: gamerprincess81

despite its violence, the quake did not do much damage in Oxnard... I was very surprised.... mainly just broken windows and such.

From what my parents told me I think it was unusually warm a few days prior to the quake... The weather was kind of up and down though.

Exactly like it is now. Been dry for several days, but before that was SO rainy for over a week. We nearly had water in our front door twice in a week from that. Thankful for the hot to warm and windy dry weather. I went from wearing a winter coat, scarf and hat over the last 2 weeks to wearing capri pants and a short sleeved shirt in less than a week. That is the first time that has happened to me in January in 11 years here

Believe me I have been debating to release the official information and quote to various sources for the coming week ... but feel it may harm me more than good if it does not hit - -

I was on the east side of Culver City not far from La Cienega...within a mile of my location, two major bridges on I-10 collapsed and 70 or 80 houses were red-tagged and condemned in my immediate neighborhood.

The jolt was SO strong and lasted a LONG time...45 seconds...imagine a freight train blasting through your bed room at 90 miles an hour...and count to 45...slowly.

My house came through it like a champ...I just finished building it a couple years earlier...however the contents got trashed!!

Well, isn't there usually a "defrost" in the middle of January? By the middle of next week it's suppose to start cooling down again.
