"off her rocker" What a stupid choice of words. I think what she was experiencing is beautiful.

I'll never forget that.

"off her rocker" is an appropriate choice of words for this as that phase had a lot of usage in the 1950s.

I mean to say you really have to understand the average common mind set of household America in the 1950s.

Psychedelics should be embraced not feared! Anybody who is against the use if psychedelics is misinformed or fearful from a trip they were not ready for.

Out of all the mind altering substances out there psychedelics are the least addictive & offer us fantastic returns if done for the right reasons.

My first, and sadly only trip, was an experience I never wanted to end.It was really that good.Lying down in the lounge looking up at the ceiling, watching all the traffic driving around hahaha. Also what got me the most was watching a spiral turning around over here, and a prism of colours just like the pink floyd album cover, turning slowing slowly over there, and looking at them, one and then the other, and back again! they stayed there!! I was just amazed.Then I had a bucket bong, got this wierd forward back speeding up shake thing happening, and ended up headbutting my guitar amp, clean knocking me out for a while!!!! later on I went outside and made acid bombs all afternoon!!
I was by myself on a farm.In a good mood, with no distractions.I think thats the key between a good trip and what other people call a "horror" trip.I recall someone telling me that they were tripping in the city, (crazy) and he could see blood pouring out of everyones eyes! he said that was it for him, never again.
I think everyone should have a small dose at least once in there lives.But then again, maybe not.You will never look at life the same again.
I knew a 25 year old, real pretty girl.She had one trip at 17 and spent the next 5 years in a hospital,apparently she was one of the lucky ones.Some people, well, they never come back, they just leave the world behind.In their mind everythings great, or really scary, in the real world they are looked after 24/7 in hospitals.A friend of mines brother is like this, my mate says every time he visits its the same,an animal that used to be human, and hes never coming back.Pretty sobering.........
To experience and then thats it, would be my best advice.
To get given a trip with the knowledge that it could ruin you?

I was watching a documentary on it and Crick apparently wanted the matter hushed until after he died for professional reasons.
I have read it in a few articles years ago.
Where it could be found on the net well I am not about to go looking, I just thought I would mention it and it is what I saw, He apparently found the stuff to be very useful as a thinking aid in smaller doses.
From my experiences with it in my youth I can agree that it is very stimulating to the mind.

I am a tomato and I can fly-I think I'll pass.

First time I tried it I was sixteen and ended up in the hospital, I went into some strangers house and scared the fuck out of them. They called the police and they sent an ambulance to take me away. When I was in my room at the hospital I felt more alive than at any other time in my entire life. It was like my whole body was made out of indestructible rubber.
