Whats for supper grandpa?
Well tonight we are having a wonderful home made vegetable noodle soup, served in home made bread bowls.

I fixed the soup with carrots, tomato, peas, green beens, celery, onion, garlic, and a bit of left over roast meat. We save the juice from the roast of several days ago for a starter for the soup.

I added the fixins, with some thyme, basil and marjoram. Of course a wee bit of salt and some pepper. Added a little, homemade beef broth, and it was off and cooking. I added the noodles after it was all cooked down, and then cooked until the noodles were nice and soft.

My wife makes awesome home baked bread from scratch. So she decided to make soup bowls today. We use the bread taken out of the soup bowls for sopping up soup.

Enjoy, and good eating.

The thing is with soup is you can get so inventive. Meat, no meat. Different veggies, noodle, no noodles, potato, no potato. Hey and have fun with it. Marjoram, thyme and basil and bay leaves, really can make a difference, but experiment to your taste.

Trust me I have made a few throw away soups. LOL

Well I know the game is on, doom is present, and most of you have eaten dinner. So I will bump this tomorrow at 6:30 am pacific in case some one wants to eat good. Now I won't be able to reply until about 3:00pm pacific, because I work without internet access. Yes some of us still do that.

Sound delicious, enjoy. It is also nice to hear about a couple working together in the kitchen.

I do not understand your question. Can you not enjoy, and learn how to eat good?
