RIP Charlie Louvins
Sad day for Louvin Brothers fans.

Incredible talent, voice, and witness for God.
Songs so fine that if you aren't moved to emotion when hearing them (or even just remembering them), you must be dead!

Rest In Peace.
For sure, The Angels Rejoiced Last Night!

Re: RIP Charlie Louvins
Oh! I LOVE the Louvin Brothers. Pretty much my all time favorite music. I have been a big fan for many many years.

So sorry to hear Charlie is gone. The Louvin Brothers are the BEST!!!

parenthetical aside:
(Lester will you take the "s" off the end of Louvin in your subject line?)

I've loved their music for years, but Ira's life reminds us that the people who make it their business to warn others about "the devil" are the most apt to fall.

Re: RIP Charlie Louvins
Funny that in my haste to write the title, I posted plural Louvins, always thought of "the Louvins". What great talents they were.

Pity that country music got so bastardized in the 80s.
Learned of these guys from listening to Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris back in `74. In those days, rock was dead...

If I could only win your love... Wow!
