weather dude on the news (can't remember which channel) said we are going to get around 19 inches; will be the worst here since 1999. 2 to 4 inches monday evening, the rest of it tuesday starting around rush hour (of course).

Deep South Yes, somewhere around TN will be right in the middle of no severe, no ice, no snow, and just a gentle type of rain ...

I hope it will be only snow when it hits Maine on Wednesday. I hate that ice stuff. During our last major ice storm back in 1998, my husband fell and hit his head so hard on a sign post outside the post office that he later that year developed brain cancer in the area he hit. So yeah - I really fucking hate that ice stuff. What's your prognosis about ice for us in Maine, Kevin?

Ice is farther south right now in this pattern ... You guys look all snow up there. I never forget your handle, because Maine is indeed forgotten in all media outlets.

South Maine 10-12" of snow -

Central 4" - 6-*" SW

over a foot. Wrong State when looking it up, you are in NY.

This sucks, I was hoping for a snowday from work, but the 8 to 10 inches isn't going to get me one!! Crap!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the good news, Kev! We're running out of room to put the snow we already have, but I think we can handle 12 inches more of it. It's been "Fluffying" all weekend here - That's what I call it when the snowflakes come down just enough to cover up the snow that got dirty but ya don't have to shovel it! I love to watch it fluffy!
