Hey guys , I'm in Airlie Beach 300km south of Townsville, evacuated the whitsunday island resorts today,Buses taking people out tomorrow.
flights all full am now stuck here.
Predicted track is now slightly above townsville maybe Ayr

Looks to be a cat 4 ( high 4) with sustained 240kmh winds for anything up to 12 -18 hours.
tidal surge range is 4-6mtrs.

Slightly shiting now that we're stuck here thing was suppose to cross on thursday afternoon , it's now wed night.

cyclone Anthony was a fizzer ( here anyway with about 50knt gusts ( cat 2 )

This thing is huge and going to very distructive.
have a solid concrete brick house , SHOULD be OK but if she goes to a cat five , who knows.
will up date ya when and if the power comes back on LOL.

Peace.
