I'm just south of Dayton Ohio and we aren't having much at the moment. I can't figure out what we are supposed to get here? A half inch of ice doesn't sound too bad? I'm missing something I guess. I'm sure I'll regret saying this tomorrow.  A half an inch of ice will break tree branches and pull power lines down. That will be the bad part. We've lived in this house for 6-1/2 years and the power hasn't gone out yet. Not even during that huge wind storm. So this will be interesting. I'm in Kettering and there is a really thin layer of ice out there but it has stopped. I guess I've never been though and ice storm so I don't know what to expect. During the wind storm we lost power for 9 days and it was rough, but at least the weather was really nice. I do worry the power will go out and I have a 3 year old, so I'm not sure what I'd do.
