Col. Greg Hapgood, spokesman for the Iowa National Guard, said about 20 members of the 67th Troop Command had been stationed in three cities in the path of the storm: Iowa City, Mount Pleasant and Davenport [ link to www.press-citizen.com] I have family in Davenport...and north,as well,in Clinton. Are they okay? So far. I also have a sister in Kansas who texted me at 4 this afternoon saying she went to step out on the porch and the snow was up to her hips. She's 5' tall. Everyone is,wisely,staying in. That's a bunch of snow, it's good she's staying in.
