Re: EGYPTIAN CIVIL WAR

Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support!

I'm letting that one go because EAT has actually made an intelligent thread...

Re: EGYPTIAN CIVIL WAR
It's not just Egypt.

This is Titor's Civil War we're looking at. Right now. Right in front of us. This is the beginning. It gets ALOT bigger from here.

John Titor's predicted Civil War is actually going to be a Global Civil War, the same sort of civil conflict going on in dozens of nations all over the globe all at the same time. It is a David versus Goliath scenario, the masses vs TPTB, and this is one thing JT never said, this is a worldwide phenomenon. It just happens to be Focused on the United States.

Have you not noticed? All of these nations you've been reading about in the news these last few weeks that are self-destructing? They've ALL had pro-American governments.

The whole Middle East is about to erupt in chaos and all out war. It starts and then stops, then starts up again, this is a continuous struggle which has gone on for years and will come to a very abrupt end.

Re: EGYPTIAN CIVIL WAR
If its civil war, shouldn't there be two sides/ethnic groups/regions within the country fighting?
This seems to be millions of people protesting with some fighting now breaking out between some of the protesters and a group of government sympathizers/police.

"Facts and Statistics Egypt

Location: North East Africa bordering Palestine (Gaza Strip) 11 km, Israel 266 km, Libya
1,115 km, Sudan 1,273 km

Capital: Cairo

Climate: desert; hot, dry summers with moderate winters

Population: 76,117,421 (July 2004 est.)

Ethnic Make-up: Eastern Hamitic stock (Egyptians, Bedouins, and Berbers) 99%, Greek, Nubian,
Armenian, other European (primarily Italian and French) 1%
Religions: Muslim (mostly Sunni) 94%, Coptic Christian and other 6%

Government: republic"

I expect that what started as a peaceful revolution has now crossed the threshold into violent revolution.

 Quoting: Johntaraz

There is 2 sides to this civil war. The anti Mubarak camp and the pro Mubarak camp. Also, there is the Christian/Islam thing that will come into play, and like what happened in Lebanon... thousands of Christians will end up leaving Egypt over the next while.
