Why do people hate Jesus so much?

My philosophy is, it scares the demons that live in them, and believe.

Brain washed by educational elites and media.

How can one hate that which does not exist?

Jesus called gentiles dogs

Because they make every picture of him look gay.

I dont think its that people hate him.. People hate the bible pushers.. the people that are always throwing him in our faces.. Bible thumpers give religion a very bad name.

i think people hate the idea that they are encouraged to place their personal accountability in another's hands.

then to top it off, the "other's" mere existence is a matter of faith laced with guilt and fear.

It is not Jesus (we know next to nothing about him - if he ever existed at all) it is the people using his name and man-made "image" trying to shove their dogmas and other BS down our throat.

I don't hate him at all. He makes great enchiladas and margaritas.

jesus would probably have a problem with the way his agents have portrayed him and the teaching of the way.

that's why some go as far to say that if he did show up he would be labeled anti-christ by the church.

I love me some Jesus. Think about it, if the guy lived today, he would be a rare one wouldn't he? You just don't see a lot of ethics, compassion, unconditional love in one human being walking around on this planet on a daily basis anymore do you? I say bring that back, make it "cool" to be a good person-- loving, caring, sharing. We need some Jesus', some Ghandis, some Mother Teresas. Right now. x10,000. With the amount of plain ol' hate that is alive in the world we'd need that to even begin to eradicate hate and wars and evil.

I don't hate him at all, sure I get mad when he takes a cigarette break between mowing the south lawn and pruning the conifers and when he talks on his cellphone when he should be pulling weeds but overall he is a good worker and humble too.

Perhaps because he`s now visible as a fraud ; there is often considerable bitterness when what you love turns out to be inchoherent , self contradictory and pointless

i've got nothing against jesus, i hear he was a hell of a guy.

It's not hate, it's just we can't believe a story told to us by an elite that are proven liars. How can we believe the wackiest of all fairy tales, we don't know who wrote the bible, much less 2000 years ago, so there is no credibility. People are gullible and fear death, and the elite exploited this and have tried to control us through false deity punishment based religions. You can only put so much blind trust in something or mystical space santa clause that can't EVER see and have NEVER seen. 2000 years is a long time to not have any proof. Folklore and deception interwined to fear, confusion, and forcing us to play the victim does not sound like a basis one can confidently base their eternal salvation on.
