There has been a lot of praise from great musicians towards slash even Eric Clapton has praised him pretty well and Eric is no guitar slouch. Id like to ass no exposure for stalker boy Ray Vaughn to that list.. just sayin.. LOL Steeeveee Ray Vaughan  Eric Clapton? Meh. Saw him live and while he's technically good I don't find his playing that distinctive and he had ZERO stage presence. no exposure for stalker boy? Two bars in a Bowie song and you can tell it's him. I'd also add Hendrix, Dick Dale, Link Wray, Chuck Berry, John Frusciante, Chet Atkins, Dave Gilmour... Being distinctive imho is as important as being technically proficient. I like Daniel Ash as well but that's more my sixteen-year old self there... I'm not going to knock Slash but I don't think he's a legend either.
