Like another poster said.....watch the Acetaminophen. If your prescribed that much for pain, you need a re-direct for pain management.

My doc put me on morphine ER. No pain and less worry about toxic side effects.

Then you must be flying at the same altitude as me!!!

Morphine is more relaxing and I sometimes get a little "lift". The other benefits is that it acts as stress reducer and opens up your veins and arteries (I've got mild hypertension).

At first the hydro's are bit fun, but when the pain gets really nagging and your liver enzymes are not up to par.....time for a change.

I really hope you aren't serious OP. We have lost family members due to prescribed pain meds. Treacherous at best. Deadly at worst.

Enjoy being out of pain and there is nothing wrong with a little high that comes with it. No one deserves to stay in pain all the time. Just make sure once you get over the initial excitement, try to be responsible. Glad you are feeling better.

Horace was right. The new guidelines laid down by the FDA is to minimize the Acetaminophen as it has been shown to cause a great deal of liver and kidney problems. This ruling just came recently.

Dont make a living out of eating them, you'll end up hooked on opiates, and if it's vicodin with the Tylenol you'll rip your Liver apeart to

I was assuming he was going to be taking them slightly more... recreationally. If this is the case, he will be taking more than the doctor recommended dose, therefore needing to be more careful of the levels of acetaminophen his liver is taking in.

Also, look up cold water filtering them, so as to remove the acetaminophen.

I was assuming that he is using the medicine for back pain, as directed by his doctor. Is that impossible?
