Weird airplane/helicopter activity in Pittsburgh & Columbus - + sun dogs + geese going nuts

Well, I'm 54 and I've seen them all my adult life. I've taken scores of photos of many, many different examples.

Sundogs or parhelia are one of the most common atmospheric optic phenomena, here is how they are formed:

Once you understand the type of weather conditions tend to form these, you will see them frequently...and move on to some of the more uncommon ones.

I do believe the amount of hydrocarbon pollution jets spew out have made conditions that favor this sort of display, but they've always been around.

Sundogs can take many forms, but they are always 22° and level to the horizon when the sun when it is low in the sky:

Sometimes they look so bizarre it is the relation to where the sun is that proves it a sundog. This image does not do this brilliant display justice:

Well sundogs aren't too significant to me.I see them pretty often.I'm in Columbus and have noticed an increase in chemtrails, tons of birds of all kinds flying in different directions,strange helicopters i have never before seen,and perhaps the strangest-four dark objects in the sky far away(2 miles?) repeatedly changing position while slowly flying straight up for what seemed like forever until disappearing. This all began today except for the chemtrails which started to pick up again a few days ago.Not sure what to think of it all...

Wow, I read this and couldn't believe it.

Illinois here...this morning the sun was intense - very intense and daughter and I were watching first, the chem trails they were starting to lay, but then my daughter noticed a huge flock of geese, flying higher than we have ever seen geese fly, forming the craziest formations, like they were out of sync, finally they figured it out the V formation, and another group came by flying lower than the first group.


Remarkably, at that point I told her wow, this sun is really bright, we looked up and saw what we thought were 2 suns, and I said to her, "it's probably a sun dog".

While we were ready to turn away, 1 lone Military helicopter was flying overhead heading east.

WTH is going on?

Ditto in NYC.. except I saw 3 military helicopters.

I heard a helicopter above my place too; located near south portland maine

was around 11pm est i think?

Any relation to the helicopters and military planes?

We have had low flying black helicopters here almost everyday for a week.. and there has also been (don't know my planes) a silver plane once or twice a week that flies very low overhead.. big in size too.. My friend said he thinks they may be taking air quality testing..

did anyone notice the halo around the mooon in pittsburgh last night around 10pm? we sure as hell did - called friends to get them to take a look too, everyone saw it. it was HUGE. i still have no idea what to think of this thread or the phenomena. but something is afoot...

Maybe waiting for the Agarthans to come out of the earth :)

Have you noticed there have been chemtrails being laid down at night here too?

Disclaimer: I am not a chem trail tard. I don't debunk them but I can never find enough information that to me satisfactorily explains them. However, I do notice that there is something up.

South Carolina got shit sprayed all day yesterday. Saw multiple sundogs throughout the day and there was a big halo around the sun for most of the day too. Very unusual from what I see

You think Geese going North already is strange...a local guy up here already saw a Robin over 2 weeks ago. It was in the paper. Keep in mind..we still have well over a foot of snow w/ a heavy crust on it.

yes i did, chemtrails were being sprayed at 10pm when i saw the halo. i also took my glasses off. it was enormous. i've never seen something like that before. personally i'm questioning chemtrails lately, thinking that maybe they actually are protecting us from cosmic radiation. i have no idea though, don't claim to, just reporting what i'm seeing from the ground.

Seen them here too. Sometimes a few Robins will stay over winter but there have been a lot of them. I feed the birds during the winter and there are some kinds that never left.... at the same time ALL of the finches are gone.

I was surprised to see them being laid down at night. We usually get them early morning.

The halo was gorgeous.

It makes the sky look very white and silvery - hurts my eyes.
