Jordan Signs Historic Nuclear Pact with Turkey

The Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Khaled Toukan, had signed a pact in the field of use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes with Turkey. After signing the historic pact, he said, “It is a milestone in relations between Jordan and Turkey and it attracts further international support for Jordan's nuclear program.” The two countries would also jointly explore the rare earth metal and developing nuclear safety and security.
