I drank every night until my 10 year old niece called me for help and i couldnt go and help her.

If you have concluded that you are an alcoholic, it means that you understand that no matter what you resolve, or how hard you try "not to drink", on some occasions you will simply forget why you want to stay sober.

Only way an alcoholic can truly remain sober is to put their dependence upon God.

You could read a book titled RagaMuffin Bible. Might help. Some eye opening stuff in there. Make you not want to drink after reading what people, examples, discussed in the book.

Try total commitment to exercise and fitness. The endorphines produced replaces the thirst. Of course it's not easy. Drinking is easy.
