If the electronic world getting louder?

Over the last couple of weeks, I've noticed that the volume on every electronic device that I use frequently is creeping up all by itself. Two TV's, my computer and my car stereo have done the same thing. I have to constantly turn them down because the volume is higher than I like it. I know it's not me, because other people whom I've had face-to-face conversations with haven't changed their volume.
I wonder if this is a result of all the solar activity. I've heard that during the solar flares of 1859, some telegraphs worked by themselves because of the massive amount of electricity in the air from the sun, so I just wonder if this is a similar thing.
If anyone else has encountered anything like this, please let me know.
