Solar Activity 24 hr Summary...

Solar activity reached moderate levels. Newly numbered Region 2822
(N18E70, Cso/beta) continued to rotate into view and produced an M3.9/1n
flare at 07/1904 UTC. This event was accompanied by Type II (848 km/s)
and Type IV radio sweeps, as well as dimming around the region in SUVI
195 imagery. Further analysis will occur to determine if there is an
Earth-directed component to the CME as coronagraph imagery becomes
available.

Solar activity is expected to be at very low levels, with a slight
chance for C-class flares on 08-10 May.

No data yet on ejecta/ CME if any. NASA is busy flying helicopters on Mars and measuring Greenland's ice sheet. Eventually they'll get around to downloading the data for us.

The closer this monster gets to facing us the more serious this situation becomes. Feeling that she's getting ready to let go again soon in (4-6)hrs.. If it develops into a BG or BGD config. We might be seeing a worst case scenario.

Let’s hope the magnetosphere stays buttoned up if it does!
