ISS Sighting Opportunities-Equinoxes are not only good for auroras, they're also the best time to see the International Space Station fly over. Check the times for your location here: [ link to spotthestation.nasa.gov (secure)] The higher the angle the easier to see above trees and buildings. These appearances only last a few minutes and they're always on time. In my area (Philly/SNJ) it will appear at 8:41 EDT in the west. If the shies are clear I hope to watch it. It kinda looks like a very bright airplane but it has no blinking lights. You're seeing pure sunlight reflecting off the massive solar panels.
