Nope, it proves resurrection in fact. Even when you do earn the higher worlds, you are given a new form there. The body is necessary to carry the soul, until that time when one becomes a spirit being and even then, WE, ( I am a spirit being) have to incarnate into planets like this to effect any change. We can't effect change if we are invisible.

i've read the bible cover to cover many times. all kinds of good stories in it. gross ones too. ye can ridicule all ye want - even if i wanted to stop ye how could i do that over the internet? life is too important to argue with closed minds.

We would be locked in, or committed to a sequence of events on a physical plane, in one of the many different dimensions that actually requires a linear time line for events to unfold properly!!

Where did the additional 6 billion souls come from in the last 200 years ?

It's possible but I doubt it would have been mainstream teaching. Origen's position on reincarnation was not widely held among church fathers. I am certainly not disparaging the concept. I am a practicing hypnotherapist specializing in past life regression so for me to deny it would be a bit hypocritical. However I have no need to defend it either. Whether or not there is reincarnation and whether or not we can access them is little therapeutic consequence. Of course even if we can't access past lives that does not disprove reincarnation.

I've been wanting to make an appointment with a hypnotherapist for past life regression, but due to time constraints from owning my own company, I have yet to do so!!

Is there any material I could purchase that would allow myself to do my own regression, or a way to access these memories on my own?

P.S. I also respect any soul's choice to experience hypnosis, grief and pain. So it is a grand game in my understanding.

What exactly is time? What if it's a frequency? Imagine time in the same concept as a radio station/frequency. Just because you're "tuned in to" CFRY (present), does not mean KPLM (past), or DFTY (future) are not taking place simultaneously. When you seriously think about it, there really is only "Now!" When does the "past" start? Wasn't the "past" the "present" just one second ago? Wasn't the "future" a minute ahead of the "present" just 2 minutes ago? See how silly the concept of linear time really is? A "time" period of 24 hours only applies to this particular planet. We "gauge" this 24 hours on the fact that that is how long it takes planet earth to make 1 revolution on its axis. We "gauge" one year on the fact it takes our planet 365.25 days to orbit the sun once. This same "gauge" cannot be used on any other planet. On Nibiru for example, one year = 3,600 earth years. See how silly the concept of linear time really is?

Our Milky Way is just one (1), of those galaxies. You additional 6 BILLION SOULS, only represents one (1) soul from a mere 6 BILLION galaxies out of 450 BILLION galaxies. Those 6.5 billion people you are concerned about, may very well go "home" to one of the other 450 BILLION galaxies from whence they came. And who knows - there may very well be MORE Universes than just this one which we call home. Our opportunities are literally ENDLESS!! We really dont know whats out there anyway.
