I've been following this since it began, and this is the general idea I have about what is currently happening (this just going by what I have heard hours ago).

Workers are no longer at the actual plant, because of high radiation, and safety concern. They are monitoring from somewhere else. Which means no one is cooling the reactors, or trying to do anything there. There is some news of trying to use helicopters to cool the reactors. I don't know if they have actually tried this yet or not. If true, it sounds like it's either one of the last, or it is the last option.

Yes, as far as I know no one is there anymore. They are monitoring from a safer place. Probably now trying to plan using a helicopter, which I do not see working, but you never know I guess...they probably don't even know how to go about doing it.
