You're attempting to create a suspicious circumstance.

You need to make a distinction between actually drowning and potentially drowning.

If I saw a child with it's parent in a pool and if for some reason thought the child could drown because the parent wasn't watching, I'd yell at the parent to take the child from danger. I would not jump in.

However, if I saw a child that didn't realize that they were in danger of drowning, and there was no parent or guardian there, I would jump in and remove the child from danger of drowning.

You are the only person who can save her. No one else is around. Heck, it could be your own child. If you do not help her, as far as you can tell, she will drown.

So, the question remains, do you wait for her to ask for help before you save her?

I would do a dramatic swan dive onto the water to save her but with my luck I would probably hit the bottom of the pool and get knocked out,so probably just throw a rope to her and ask her to hold on to it.

Following Jesus' example, yes, I would jump in and save her. I suspect she'd be grateful for that unilateral action.
